Welcome to our April newsletter! We hope you are all having a wonderful Easter break and that your children are enjoying some well-deserved rest before the term ahead.
April is shaping up to be a very exciting month at Kumon Lucan. We have some important news about how our sessions will run going forward, a fantastic Wall of Fame to celebrate, and of course — lots of birthday shoutouts!

Easter Holiday Class Timetable
We are currently in the middle of the Easter school holidays — classes are running throughout. See the full schedule below, with remaining sessions highlighted.
Car Park Closed to Parents from 13th April
Lucan ETNS has informed us that from Monday 13th April, the school car park will be closed to all except staff and facilitators. This decision has been made by the Board of Management in the interest of safety for everyone using the school premises.
🚶 What this means for drop-off & collection:
Please use the pedestrian gate near the astro turf when dropping off or collecting your child. Do not enter the car park — it is strictly reserved for staff and facilitators only.
💡 Good news: our new staggered arrival slots launching on 14th April will make drop-off and collection even smoother — read on for more details!
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation with this important safety measure.
New Arrival Slots From 14th April
A calmer, smoother experience for every student
From Tuesday 14th April, we are introducing a new rolling arrival system at Kumon Lucan. Rather than all students arriving at the same time, each family will be assigned a specific arrival slot.
📱 Watch out for a personal WhatsApp message from us — we will be sending every family their individual arrival slot before the 14th April launch.
If you have any questions about your slot or would like to request a change, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
